Twi Raffler

This is a simple app for picking raffle winners among re-tweeters of a specific post.

The key feature of this app is the ability to pick the winners for posts with high amounts of re-tweets.

Usage Guide:

1. In order for the app to function it needs a Bearer token - a unique Id which is associated with a Twitter Developer account and used for calculating usage rate limits. To get this token you need to follow the official Instruction (steps 1 through 3). It should take about 2 minutes to register your Twitter dev account and get the token.
2. After getting the Bearer Token just paste it into the corresponding field.
3. Copy/Paste the raffle post's full URL into the Tweet Link field
4. Press "Load Retweet Data". The loading process should start right after that.
5. After the loading is complete, the retweets are arranged in descending by retweet date order, press "Shuffle" button in order to rearrange it in random order.

Notes

• Bearer tokens are safe to share theoretically, but it is still better to avoid that.
• Bearer Token is saved in your cache whenever you press "Load Retweet Data" in order to save it for future raffles!
• Those usage instructions might look quite shady, so if you successfully used the app, please leave a comment that it works fine! Also remember that you can always use an alt account to follow the instructions.
• Twitter's usage rate limits for free dev accounts are: ~500 retweets per second, ~7500 retweets per 15 minute window, the app will wait for the next time window if it ran over request quota.
